This policy explains what happens to the details you send us through the booking request and enquiry forms on this website. The site is run by Jovevi Apartments in Ohrid, North Macedonia. You can reach us using the details on the contact page.

What the forms collect

When you send a booking request or a question, the form sends us:

• your name and email address
• your phone number, if you give one
• the apartment, your dates and the number of adults and children
• your message, if you write one
• the language you used and the page you sent the form from

We use these details only to answer you and, if you book, to arrange your stay. There is no online payment on this site.

Who receives your details

The form is delivered by Web3Forms, an email service that passes your request on to our inbox. Web3Forms handles it only to deliver it, as described in its privacy policy. We (the owners of the apartments) then read it and reply by email or phone. We don’t share your details with anyone else and we never sell them.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and our emails with you for as long as we need them to answer you and look after your stay, and delete them no later than 12 months after your stay or our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep booking records for longer.

Other things the site uses

• Language choice: the site remembers the language you picked in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
• Sending pause: after you send a request, the site stores the time it was sent in the same local storage, so it can wait a minute before sending another. It stays on your device too.
• Maps: when a map is shown, your browser loads the map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which receive your IP address as with any website.
• Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site.
• Visit statistics: we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records the page, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country, without cookies and without building a profile of you. We see only totals.
• Prices and our admin login: only we can change the prices shown on the site, after logging in through Cloudflare Access with a one-time code sent to our email. Cloudflare handles that login, and the site keeps our email address with each saved price list so we can see who changed it. This concerns only us: what the forms collect from you is unchanged, and prices shown to you are a guide that we confirm when we reply.

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights and how to ask for deletion

You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them or to delete them. Email us at the address on the contact page and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to North Macedonia’s Personal Data Protection Agency (azlp.mk) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
